How We Work

From your brief
to the final handover.

You approve the specification, sample and changes to your requirements. Independent manufacturers produce the goods. UCHANGE coordinates the work, updates and decisions through shipping and fulfillment handover within the scope you agree.

What to prepare before production

What is agreed, recorded and handed over.

The sequence below shows the records and decisions involved in a project. The quote and agreed scope define which steps apply, who can approve release, and where the handover ends. Explore the services that support these stages.

  1. Brief

You share the intended use, quantity, target date, budget context and destination. We clarify the work you need, the receiving arrangement and the responsibilities to include in the quote.

DecisionYou confirm the brief and proposed scope.

    Handoff record

Written brief, open questions and proposed responsibilities

  2. Specification

We work through materials, dimensions, finish, packaging and acceptance criteria with you. We compare manufacturing options and record the requirements to use for sourcing and sampling.

DecisionYou review the specification and quote assumptions.

    Handoff record

    Product specification and manufacturing requirements

  3. Sample

We arrange samples and record your feedback against the specification. Revisions and outstanding points are documented before the approved sample becomes the production reference.

DecisionYou approve the sample and specification for production.

    Handoff record

Approved reference, revision record and approval date

  4. Production

Independent manufacturers make the products. We collect progress updates and track agreed milestones. We flag delays, substitutions or other exceptions and present proposed next steps.

DecisionYou decide on changes affecting your approved requirements or terms.

    Handoff record

Production update, exception log and recorded change decisions

  5. Quality review

We coordinate the checks agreed for the product and share the findings. Where an issue is identified, we coordinate the proposed correction or further review and record the release decision.

DecisionThe agreed decision-maker confirms correction, further review or release.

    Handoff record

Quality findings, outstanding issues and release record

  6. Delivery

We coordinate packing, shipping documents and shipment updates, then hand over the agreed records to the recipient or fulfillment provider. The project scope defines who handles receipt and onward fulfillment.

DecisionYou confirm the receiving instructions and assigned responsibilities.

    Handoff record

Packing list, agreed shipping documents, shipment status and fulfillment handover

Describe the product and its use.

Share who will use it, what it needs to do, the expected quantity, budget context, target timing, and destination. Bring any existing drawings, samples, or specifications to the project discussion, and identify details you still need help defining.

Review the specification and sample.

Confirm materials, dimensions, finish or decoration, and packaging requirements. Review the sample against those details, identify changes and approve the production reference. Name the person who can approve later changes and decide on quality issues.

Define the shipping and fulfillment handover.

Share the destination, recipient or fulfillment provider, pack quantities, labels and receiving requirements. Agree the quality checks, shipping documents and information needed at handover. Confirm who handles receipt and onward fulfillment; these responsibilities depend on the project scope.

Define where our work ends and yours continues.

A shipment may go to your business or to a fulfillment provider you identify. We agree the recipient, receiving requirements and handover records before arranging that part of the work.

UCHANGE coordinates the assigned activities. Storage, onward order processing and dispatch responsibilities must be named in the scope; they are not assumed to be part of every project. Destination availability and shipping arrangements are reviewed for the product and project.
